Pete Moore – RSPB

Pete Moore has been working in nature conservation for thirty-eight years, mostly in Scotland and mostly for RSPB. He has been Warden at RSPB Insh Marshes for the last eighteen years, a site that he considers to be one of the best wildlife sites in the UK. Naturally, he’s a keen birder and contributes to bird recording both on and off the reserve. He also has a great enthusiasm for moths, so he is right at home in Strathspey, with its unique community of moths including Dark Bordered Beauty, Kentish Glory, Rannoch Sprawler, Sword-grass and others. In his spare time, Pete is Chairman of Butterfly Conservation Highland Branch”
