BIG Weekend Art Competition is underway

School kids from around the Park have submitted their artwork in droves, we asked them what inspires them about nature and in particular the Cairngorms National Park mountains.

Our judges had a lot to go through, it took them quite a while to look at all the paintings, drawings, sculptures and even a cake! There were a lot of really inspirational artworks on display, which made it really difficult to choose and decide the Cairngorms Nature BIG Weekend Art Competition Shortlist.

But we have our shortlisted winners – congratulations to everyone who entered and we look forward to joining the shortlisted artists during the BIG Weekend with CairnGorm Mountain Ltd at the Ptarmigan for the final judging!
